Collection: Astro Girl: Arrival

Arrival forms part of the Astro Girl collection. As with the other images in this theme, it is born from my deep fascination with the cosmos and the vastness of the stars.

I wanted Arrival to capture awe which is defined as “A feeling of respect or reverence mixed with dread and wonder, often inspired by something majestic or powerful.’

There can be little more majestic than a clear, light pollution-free night sky. Astro girl finds herself, amongst the stars, enveloped by their magnitude. The reflection in her eyes is of revelation and a tinge of fear as she gazes into the infinite.

Arrival, as with all of the Astro Girl designs is a tribute to those who look upwards at the and feel the pulse of excitement and mystery. It's for anyone who's ever been captivated by the infinite possibilities that lie just beyond our grasp, on the horizon of our dreams.
