The Swimmer: Naida

My inspiration for The Swimmer comes from my zodiac sign of Pisces, my love of being in water and the mystical creatures associated with lakes and the sea. 

In Greek mythology, Naiads were a type of nymph who presided over fountains, wells, springs, streams, brooks, and other bodies of freshwater. They were known for their beauty and their connection to the particular water body they inhabited.

In this design concept, I imagined Naida as a modern interpretation of those mythical water nymphs. Here Naida is surrounded by vibrant koi fish weaving through the water, creating a dance of colour and movement.

She embodies the grace, beauty, and serenity often associated with these mythological beings.

This design is a tribute to those who feel a deep connection with water, and the aquatic realm as they journey through their daily lives.

It's for swimmers, dreamers, and all who find solace and inspiration in the gentle embrace of water.
